((Also also, onemoreparadise, I know you ship this. Is there any really good fics for Vanitas/Ventus? It seems like a slightly less creepy/equally as creepy romance as Sephiroth and Cloud, and I'm interested in at least looking into it.))

Even more disappointing, I have yet to find many good VenVanitas fics (which is terribad because I ship this so hard!). Most of the ones I read horribly butcher Vanitas's character to make a relationship work. I've bee roleplaying to get my fill of VenVanitas so don't have anything for ya...

I started reading this one fic, but I was to tired to get through the first chapter, BUT it did seem promising. I'll get back to you on that.

Shut up woman, I got the wrong type of PSP. (PSP Go's don't let you play BBS, so I had to borrow a friend's and then school actually started)

*siiiiigh* Oh well. I'll wait for you to get back to me on that, I guess. I'm actually kinda surprised that there isn't more of Vanitas being all crazy possessive and nutso towards Ventus.

I know! I love how Vanitas is just so verbally mean to Ven and I have yet to find that in a fic. Whenever I find something promising it ends up shifting Vanitas's personality to make it "cutesy".
While that's all well and good in other pairings, I don't think there would be anything cute and sweet about VenVans relationship. I want my possessive/verbally... perhaps even physically abusive Vanitas.

I'll finish the first chapter of that fic and see if it's anything worth continuing.

Vanitas is such a bitch to him, it's true. Not directly, but he just undercuts everything that Ven is. "Oh, you don't want to fight? That's fine. I'll just go choke your best friends while you watch. We'll see how long your pacifism lasts then." *snidegrin*

Seriously, Vanitas isn't directly abusive towards him. He doesn't really call him names, other than calling him worthless. He just riles Ven up and then mocks him for feeling anything.

(Ven is like Sora only with LESS of a sense of self-preservation, if that's even possible.)

Ugh, Roleplaying until I find something good I guess. The one I was reading, eh... it turned out not so good. I'll keep looking simply because I love how this pairing could work out so much it isn't even funny.

(Welp, it's apparently possible. I mean he did outright ask Terra to end him...)

(And before that Ven was seriously herping around the galaxy. Intentions were good, but did he know what he was doing or where he was going? Noooope! Not unless it was "Wherever Terra is, wait what do you mean that it's dangerous and I can't take care of myself, who's this guy in the mask, what's going on, guys why aren't you telling me things?" because that's seriously the impression I had of Ven before he figured out why Eraqus wanted him back home so badly.

Ah, that's the beauty of Livejournal and ff.net. I have found so many RP buddies from striking up conversation, and also all the lovely RP comms on LJ. I have some dead muses that aren't in a livejournal RP at the moment that I really have to make a musebox or something for because I still love them (and once I do they are free game roleplays) :3

It really is. I'm just really lucky that my beta is in so many fandoms that I'm in too, and she was the one to bring up Vanitas/Ventus. (She plays Vanitas and she does a gooood job about it, so far)

Seriously, he has such a daddy/big brother complex for Terra. And Aqua is just so motherly towards him that it's condescending at times. Which is why I think Ven gets upset with them both during the game.

I adore it too~! I just feel bad that Ven basically starts feeling left out, and thats why he lets Vanitas get to him at the beginning of the game. And after that, it's almost a lost cause.
