That Story I said would be a oneshot
Jun. 3rd, 2010 08:42 amMy definition of one-shot tends to be "a story that is short enough to not need more than just one chapter." So, call it, around...1000 to 8000 words? Possibly longer, because sometimes it works better that way.
Yeah...that little snippet I posted a couple of entries back? The one about Solitaire? I made the mistake of calling it short.
And here we are, past four thousand words later. And I don't think it's more than half done. Maybe.
MAAAAYBE halfway done. If I'm lucky.
What is it with me and stories that mutate on me?
So, I have to ask: Really long one-shot, or two-shot (or, heaven help me, another multichapter)? Give your opinions, please. And then, for kicks and giggles, tell me which type of story you prefer more!
(Oh, and good news. Mnemonic is getting worked on. It's about 1/5 of the way through, because I'm stuck. Dreadfully stuck. I'll take hints on what you all think should happen. Seriously, give me some help here.)
