Why are there capes?

Dear world (aka my LJ, because I'm sure the world has little to nothing to do with this, and in fact, neither does my LJ):

Why do I keep drawing Shinrin with a cape? Just... y'know. Wondering. Not that he doesn't look good (because he does, I mean, this is Shinrin, for crying out loud), but really. A cape?




(For those of you (most of you) who don't know, Shinrin is an OC of mine, and you can find pictures of him on my DevArt. Keep an eye out for a redheaded elf who is sexy enough to be a leathal weapon.)

Becaaauuuuse, only Shinrin would enter a room dramatically enough to makes a cape SWOOSH.

Yeah, there's a point. Not to mention he likes going down stairs with a cape swooshing behind him!

There is, actually! If you go to my profile (Click on the person-looking thing next to my name), there should be an option to the right side of the screen that says "Track". Then you can tell LJ to send you a message any time I make a journal!
