Why do I talk about these things?
Aug. 3rd, 2010 07:16 am(Alright, I know that none of you care about this, but just smile and act like you do, mmkay?)
The manner in which I write is actually a little strange, even to me. I don't do the whole "Start at the beginning and write the entire thing through". I write little bits and pieces of scenes that pop into my mind and then build around that.
Take Mnemonic, for example. The first scene I wrote in that fic was a scene in the second chapter. I had about three thousand words of the second chapter written down before I even started on the first chapter, and, well, we all know how well the third chapter stuff came out. (Namely in the fact that it wasn't supposed to end up the way it did, but turned out okay anyway.)
So, I'm working on Pants 'R' Us. And I have... oh, 6.6k written on it, by last count. That DOES include placeholders for scenes, because I figure that the scenes will be so much longer that it's like I have part of them written already. It's about 11 straight pages of the fic, no interruptions, and then it gets a little spotty. But I just really liked this one placeholder sentence that's in there, so I'mma show it to you all. (and yes, all of my placeholders look exactly like this, so I can't mistake it for anything else.)
(ALRIGHT, I DON’T HAVE MUCH IDEA OF WHAT GOES HERE, ASIDE FROM COPIOUS FACEPALMING FROM AXEL AND ROXAS)
I think I'm so funny....

Lol yeah. It can get quite annoying. D:
Yep. . . My very few ideas for Zemyx stories aren't based off of scenes, but many others are. Well, no. One of them is. . . ((based off TWO scenes, in fact)) but I haven' written absolutely anything for that. . . It'll probably just end up like many other things: just a story in my head that could have been. ;o; Lol. ((Yay for not-quite-consensual sex scenes! *dances* I hadn't read one of those in a while until one of my friends showed me that's six whole chapters, each of them about 4-5k words long, of a semi-non-con. . . not quite sex. . . so lime?. . . Because they haven't yet gotten the chance to do so, because someone walks in on them when the one character is all seduce-y, then the second character is like "THANK GOD." << But he so wants it. =w= Lol. Though, sadly, it's not Zemyx. After reading it I was just thinking ". . . If only that were Zemyx. . . ;o;" ))

Date: 2010-08-03 08:14 pm (UTC)See, I was thinking about the "HOMG I WANT YOU, BUT I'M NOT GOING TO ADMIT IT" thing for Zemyx, and I realized that it wouldn't actually work all that well, given their characters. It can happen, because, hell, Demyx is a bit of a horndog, and he'll seduce Zexy like no one's business, but I don't see him being quite... relentless enough to pull off the entire thing as well as another couple.
Re: XD
Date: 2010-08-03 08:19 pm (UTC)Yeah. . . I know it won't work that well unless we, uh, alter Demmy's personality a bit. Their personalities don't quite work for the semi-non-con. . . But oh, I wish it did. . . ;w; . . . So I just read it with other couples. >
