The Twilight Between (And all the trouble it is)

The Twilight Between (or TTB for short *iz so smart*) is the long, multi-chapter fic that I'm working on, yes?

Yes.

And if you want to find out more about it, you either have to be a friend of mine in RL (because I can't keep my fat mouth shut about it), or my beta (Who is a friend of mine in RL), or my captain (Also a friend of mine in real life). Or really, you just have to know me well enough for me to feel comfortable blabbering on and on about it.

Or you could just look a few posts back and see what little I put up there.

Anyway.

Point is, the story is finally starting to coagulate in my brain, and not in a deadly manner either. I'm beginning to get a sense of the plot (though I need more before I even THINK of starting it), and the characters are beginning to make themselves known a bit more, because I can't write a fic without making the characters unique each time. (It's like I was given silly putty or playdoh and it's not like I'm changing the basic essence of what it is, but more like I'm just making different shapes each time. Still playdoh. Just in one case, it's a musician, and in the other, it's ... well. An empathic/telepathic nurse. Don't question my similes.)

And as this happens, I got more of a handle on Zexion. See, before, the story was about DEMYX and how DEMYX dealt with all of the shit that went down, but now... Zexion's half of the story is just as interesting, and just as essential.

So.

Conundrum.

I really wanted The Twilight Between to be JUST from Demyx's point of view. But I really thought that Zexion needed his say too. So I talked to Tyna (my Captain/roommate) about it, and we sorta agreed that TTB would work MUCH better as just Demyx.

But Zexion's Point of View needed to be explored.

Welcome to the newest fic idea. Companion piece to The Twilight Between. Told entirely from Zexion's point of view.

It will be called (unless I think of a better name) Devil in Your Hands.

(And now this means that I need a series/verse name for the entire thing. Oh Jeez)

I hadn't read this post before. I missed it, methinks.

But wow. That's actually really cool. . . I wish you luck! You now have two/one story in one. Did that make sense? Two stories 'cuz you have to write two point of views, but it's still ONE story. . . hurr. Lol.

But this sounds really cool. C: So, yeah.

It happens sometimes!

It's sorta making me a little happy right now, because I get to actually explain what the other character's thoughts are during certain conversations and not feel guilty about going over the dialogue again. (Demyx's empathy can only get him so far!)

They're both being outlined right now, and I haven't quite figured out the end for them... But it'll be a good journey!

I think it'll be interesting, because there are several stretches of time where one character is available, but the other isn't, or they're in two completely different places. And I was wonderinf what was going to go on and what I was going to do about it, because Demyx is over here, and Zexion's over there, but what Demyx does affects what Zexion does, and then Zexion needs to do something that influences the entire story, so...

Yeah, I'm glad I chose (was convinced) to do this.
