(no subject)

Everyone here knows that last Thursday was my last day at my summer internship. And most of the people who watch prettypixiechan on DeviantArt know that college is coming up soon for both of us. (We're going up to the same place). So, here's the update for you guys.

(and an embarrassing story, because I just have to.)

Alright, so, College. In South Dakota. Ten days. I sorta can't wait to get back up there, because I get to see my captain (Tyna) again, but at the same time, I'll miss my friend Hiko and my family down here. Texas is warm, and South Dakota is not. I'm not actually sure which one is better. *headtilt*

We have to wake up at the ass-crack of dawn to get to the airport, and then fly for an hour to wait for two and a half hours for the next flight. >.< Does not approve. But then we get up there, and we have an apartment (but a new roommate to deal with. (Pixie translates that to be "New punching bag")), and I get to see my uncles and sister again. And her cat.

I'm looking forward to it, but also not.

ONTO EMBARRASSING MOMENTS.

Last Thursday was my last day at work. The power went out around 1 pm. My computer was still on, because it was plugged into the sockets that were supported by the diesel generator. And then they shut that off to get the main power reconnected around 3 pm. The power stayed off until 4:30, and I just decided to pack up all of my computer stuff and start drawing.

Apparently....

Well...

Remember all those fanfictions I've been writing at work?

Um. They were on a flashdrive.

That I apparently didn't pick up.

So I left my boyporn. At work. That I wasn't going to go back to.

I am SO dumb sometimes.

But! I got it back on Monday. (By calling up my co-worker and explaining to her that there were VERY IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS RELATING TO MY SCHOOL on there. Which there are, but that's not what I wanted.)

Zene is a derp-face sometimes.

School, huh? I bet you'll be enjoying that! ^-^ Remember to give us updates on school life, okay? ESPECIALLY the boys! ^_^ (We must know if your life is doing bad or doing well so we know when to stroke your ego and when you cheer you up alongside the usual ego-stroke.)
I've done that before, only it's more like "I left my disc of Doujinshi in my shared computer." (In which case I simply walked up and grabbed it, "explaining" to Mom that "Doujinshi" was a Korean band I was checking out. XD Keep in mind that it was yaoi on that disc and my mother is Mormon.)

Yeah, I will be! I'm excited to get back up there (since I get to start working on more cosplays!), but I'm sorta sad to leave home. (And since when are boys interested in me? (emo))
