Silence is Golden

zenellySo yeah. Here again. Just going to let you all in on the fact that it's still my break, but in four days, I'm going back up to college in the frozen north (I love it, I promise) and I'll be online...waaaaay more often than I am right now. Because now, all my friends are here, not two days' worth of driving away.
In other news, just in case anyone was wondering, Silence is Golden Chapter Seven is in progress. I'm not sure how to get them back to where they need to be, but I'll manage somehow. I might just.... skip stuff, and refer back to it later.
I'm sorry if I use this excuse too often, but style-changes are such a bitch!
Seriously, I'm not happy with this chapter. AT ALL. Chapter Six? I loved it. It was difficult, but I'm SO pleased with how it ended up. This one? No. No No. I can't feel it.
The main problem is, I think, that I don't know WHERE the style change is happening.
Other problem: SiG isn't...actually...going...anywhere.
It's serving its purpose. It's a college fic about Zexion and Demyx and how they get together, but as for anything more? Nothing. Really, in all honesty, I'm not sure why it's even taking them this long (aside from the fact that both of them are slightly stupid and more than slightly stubborn).
So here I have a plotless fic that people like (THANK YOU PEOPLE, I LOVE YOU), but I would be happier with if it was either finished, or had something that tied it all together.
Oh, and one last thing, I gave away too much too soon. I basically front-loaded this work with information, and now there's not really anything left. Just a little frustrating for me, but now that I've recognized that, I think I can learn how to fix it.

Then again, this will be my first completed fic, so I'm proud of it just for that.
Oh, and I cut out yet another planned chapter. *sighs* Oh well. Down to nine chapters, and there's NO way it's getting ANY shorter than that.
Good news, though.
My puppy (who is eleven years old and ninety pounds) is ADORABLE when she sleeps. *coos* Lookit her feet-sies twitch!
